To minister means "to do service for."

Stanley Ting December 26 at 10:12pm · The Ministry of Angels . Angels are personal spirit beings, each having a mind of greater capacity and ability than humans. They are capable of attitudes, purposes and intentions. But as wonderful and powerful as angels are, they have no authority apart from the Creator. . "And יהושע came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." (Matthew 28:18) Our Messiah has complete control over all spirit beings. . As the chief servants of the Almighty, angels do His will in all things, whether toward His future sons or against the wicked. . The ministry of the angels to the elect includes guiding, providing for, protecting, delivering, comforting and gathering. The author of Hebrews calls them "ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation": "Are they not all serving spirits sent out to attend those who are about to inherit deliverance?" (Hebrews 1:14) . To minister means "to do service for." Angels are sent forth to do service for the saints, the elect and the chosen, those going on to perfection and inheriting eternal life. They are here to save us from accidents or premature death and to help us attain eternal life. The ministry of angels to the elect is an inspiring and encouraging proof of Aluahym's care and concern for us. . In the future, the Creator will commission His angels to gather the elect at Jerusalem. When He returns in great power and glory, Yahusha will "send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other" (Matthew 24:31). He has already determined the specific duties the angels will perform when the Messiah returns. . Aluahym often sends His angels to protect and deliver His elect. David wrote: "The messenger of יהוה encamps all around those who fear Him, And rescues them." Here we see that Aluahym expects loyalty and obedience as a prerequisite to giving His protection. Similarly, Psalm 91 shows that Aluahym has given His angels charge over us: "For He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. They bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone." (Psalms 91:11-12) . Aluahym often sends His angels to protect and deliver His elect. When Daniel was thrown into the lion's den for his obedience: "My Elah has sent His messenger and has shut the lions’ mouths, and they did not harm me, because I was found innocent before Him. And also before you, O sovereign, I have done no harm.” (Daniel 6:22) . Angels were created to be ministers, agents and helpers in Aluahym's creation. The set-apart angels who have remained loyal to the Creator realize that He made them to be servants of the Aluahym Family. John writes in Revelation 22:8-9: "And I, Yoḥanan, saw and heard these matters. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the messenger who showed me these matters. And he said to me, “See, do not! For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who are guarding the words of this book. Worship Elohim.” . Under Aluahym's direction the ministry of angels is to guide, provide for, protect, deliver, comfort and watch over the elect. These set-apart angels of Aluahym are greater beings than humans are now but human potential is far greater. Angels are loyal and dedicated servants of Aluahym commissioned to help humans attain salvation. Yet angels are helping us to attain levels in the Aluahym Family far greater than they have. They will remain servants while we become born sons of Aluahym! . How many human beings could function with a pure attitude without jealousy toward those who will soon be in authority over them? We may have underestimated the loyalty and dedication of the faithful set-apart angels! We should certainly appreciate the work of these "ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation." They do so much for us that we never see.
